The GameCube's hit animal life sim/adventure sequel for the DS, Animal Crossing DS, gets new name.
Highly anticipated Gamecube sequel Animal Crossing DS finally recieves an official title. Nintendo has revealed that the game is now known as Animal Crossing: Wild World.
Animal Crossing:Wild World is the official sequel to 2003's Gamecube animal life sim/adventure. Animal Crossing: Wild World will hit store shelves this fall and will be among the first titles to take advantage of the DS's online capabilities, among Animal Crossing: Wild World is Mario Kart DS and Tony Hawk's American Sk8land; like Animal Crossing they will both be online enabled from launch.
