Legend of Zelda turns twenty years old.

Twenty year's ago in Japan, on February 21st, 1986, The Legend of Zelda was born. Launching on Nintendo's Famicom Entertainment System, known here as the Nintendo Entertainment System or NES, the game defied current odds and set new standards in the gaming world. For one, Legend of Zelda was the first game to feature a built in memory pack, gamers were able to save game progress by the press of a button.

The Legend of Zelda lives on today as easily one of, if not the greatest gaming series of all time. Arguably sporting the best game of all time, the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the Legend of Zelda series holds strong to this day and is bound to only excel in its greatness through the coming years with the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on the GameCube and the inevitable future Revolution installment.
