Just yesterday, we reported on Reggie Fils-Aime's interview with EGM Magazine. He told EGM, “The trick will be what makes it special to play [Twilight Princess] on the Revolution" basically, Reggie confirmed that some sort of special functionality will be available for Twilight Princess through the Revolution's ability to play GameCube titles.

Today, Reggie spoke with Engadget. In the interview, he made reference to how GameCube games will be played on the Revolution, shooting down the whole “special functionality for Twilight Princess on the Revolution” idea that he has led us all to believe. "All of the GameCube games will be compatible only with GameCube accessories, so whether it’s a WaveBird or whether it’s a wired controller, you’ll only be able to play those titles with those accessories." he continued, "Essentially what we’re saying is that Revolution titles are the only ones that will leverage the new controller."
