Registration has begun for Camp Hyrule, the Nintendo online summer camp that immerses campers in all the coolest Nintendo games and activities.
Now in its 11th year, Camp Hyrule was one of the first virtual communities to bring video gamers together for fun and discussions of like interests. Since the first Camp Hyrule, Internet usage has skyrocketed among all demographics, and Nintendo's summer camp has grown right along with the trend. The free weeklong camp is sponsored by Nintendo Power magazine.
Campers can register now through July 28 at www.CampHyrule.com. Once camp begins, each registered camper will be assigned to a virtual cabin, where he or she can meet other gamers and interact with Nintendo's game-play experts in exclusive Camp Hyrule chat rooms and message boards.
Daily events include live chat shows with VIP guests, games, art activities and a busload of surprises from the Nintendo universe. This year campers can participate in fun activities based on exciting upcoming Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance games like The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Nintendogs, Mario Kart DS, Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness and lots more.
Nintendo expects 10,000 to 15,000 eager campers to participate in Camp Hyrule 2005, which takes place Aug. 15 to Aug. 19.| Post Comment
