Square-Enix has recently announced that the company would like to balance the games it produces so that Microsoft and Nintendo receive more titles for their consoles.
To elaborate further on the above comment, Square-Enix is planning on releasing a Dragon Quest title and a Final Fantasy game for the Revolution. We already know that the publisher has another Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles game in the making for DS, and Final Fantasy XI for Xbox 360, which is good news for both companies and bad news for Sony. A Square-Enix representative said that a Final Fantasy game is also scheduled for Playstation 3, whether it be FFXIII or not is yet to be determined. Also, don't forget World of Mana, a game being released for the DS, but will later appear on other consoles as well.
Wata has gave big hints indicating they are changing their style from the usual "develop for most dominant console" to "develop for everyone", as he says that's how it will have to be for the next-gen consoles.
On Wednesday, Wata said "The market for next-generation game consoles will be divided into 'high end' and 'low end' according to the wishes of the users, so rather than one type of hardware surging ahead, the share will be divided between various game consoles."
