Nintendo is sending out emails to all My Nintendo subscribers, asking them to download a simple program. This tests what Internet connection you are using to give Nintendo technicians some information on how consumers are hooked up to the internet. This will help in the making of the WiFi service the DS will have later this fall. Click here for the survey.
The program is basically just an Animal Crossing clock in the corner of your screen. When you see that clock, feel great about yourself that Nintendo of America is currently performing a test on your internet connection. After it's done, submit the data it tells you into the survey and presto, you're done.Mario Kart and Animal Crossing DS are two games that will support online wireless play via WiFi.
