It was rumored and predicted by Popular Science that the price of the Game Boy Micro would be $100; let's see if they were right.
Nintendo-Europe revealed today the price of its tiniest handheld yet for Europe. Popular Science predicted $100, but it turns out it'll be available in four different colors in Europe, each for €69.99 Euro, or $99.99 US.

The Game Boy Micro measures four inches wide, two inches tall and 0.7 inches deep, making it the smallest gaming console ever to hit the market. It's also Nintendo's lightest console ever, as it weighs a mere 2.8 ounces. Even though it's small, it has the same processing power and will play the same games as Game Boy Advance SP, a handheld with over 700 titles in its library.

Features for this baby include LED start/select buttons (that glow) to bright up your gaming life, a two-inch, back-lit screen, which is brighter and sharper than any Game Boy screen. Also, for the first time ever, gamers will be able to adjust the screen light for whether they're outside or inside. Along with the different colors come different faceplates, which you can buy and customize onto your Micro for the ultimate look. For the US, however, black and silver colors are the only colors confirmed, which come with three faceplates as shown below. It'll be released September 19th in the US and November 4th for Europe, so be sure to get your unit when it comes. For more information, please visit the official website by clicking here.
